Ashwini International School

Ashwini International School is situated on Plot No 10 & 15 here in Kukatpally. We’ve got a decent amount of space spread across these plots. It’s a busy operation and there is always something needing attention, whether it’s a desk that needs fixing or a schedule that needs adjusting. We don't really go for the corporate look. Our focus is just on the day-to-day reality of teaching. The teachers come in, get their coffee, and head to their rooms. The students arrive in buses or on the back of scooters. It’s a typical Hyderabad scene every morning. We have a mix of ages and the building can get quite loud during the lunch hour. We try to keep a bit of order, but children will be children. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just teach the curriculum and make sure the exams get done on time. The location is quite central for anyone living in this part of town. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to deal with that, or the water cooler needs a new bottle. It’s just the practical side of running a school. We are just a group of people working together to keep a school running. We’ve been at it for a while and we plan to stay right here on Plot 10 and 15 for a long time. It’s our home.
