Asha Medical Hall

You can find Asha Medical Hall at Shop No. 11-6-465 in the Nampally Market area. It’s a busy part of town, always lots of noise and people looking for things. I spend most of my day standing behind the glass cases filled with medicine boxes. It’s a small shop, but we pack a lot of stuff into the shelves. Nampally is a place that never really stays still, so there’s always someone coming in with a prescription or looking for some tablets. I try to keep everything organized, but sometimes the stacks of boxes get a bit high. It’s just how a local chemist shop works. I don’t have a big team, just a few of us making sure we find the right medicine for whoever walks in. We see all kinds of people every day. Some are in a hurry and others want to talk for a bit about their aches and pains. I’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the market over the years. We don't do any flashy marketing or anything like that. People just know us because we’ve been at this spot for a while. It’s a lot of manual work, checking expiry dates and writing down what we need to order for the next day. It’s a simple life running a medical hall in Nampally, and it keeps us on our feet. There is always someone new coming through the door.
