We are G.I Securities & Manpasand Manpower Pvt. Ltd., and our office is based in Sanath Nagar, Hyderabad. The work here is pretty straightforward. We deal with security guards and providing workers for different companies. My role as an HR person means I spend most of my day looking at resumes and talking to people who are looking for a job. The office in Sanath Nagar is in a very busy, industrial sort of area. There is a lot of dust and the sound of trucks passing by is pretty constant. We don't have a big, shiny office building. It’s just a basic room with some chairs for people to wait in and a couple of desks for us to work at. It can get quite crowded in the mornings when a lot of people show up at once looking for placement. We don't use any big words or fancy talk. We just tell people what jobs are available and try to help them out. It’s a lot of manual record-keeping and checking documents. Sometimes we stay late when there is a big order for manpower to fill. It's a tough neighborhood sometimes, but it's where the work is. We just keep our heads down and try to match the right person with the right job. It’s a local operation and we prefer it that way.
