Arihanth Kirana And General Store

Our shop, Arihanth Kirana And General Store, sits at Shop No 4-1-1085/86 on Boggulakunta Road. It is right on Tilak Road in Hyderabad. We are very close to Fernendez Hospital, so we see a lot of people coming from there. Some are visiting patients and others are just passing through this busy part of the city. We keep a mix of kirana items and general things people might need in a hurry. The shelves are packed with all sorts of packets and bottles. It is a bit cramped inside sometimes, but that is just how these old shops are. We have been here for a good amount of time. Working in Hyderabad means dealing with the heat and the crowds, but we are used to it by now. We open up early and don't close until it gets dark. We handle the sales ourselves. There is no corporate office or anything, just us behind the counter. Most of our customers are locals who live in the apartments around here. They know us by name. We don't use any complicated systems, just a pen and a notebook mostly for our records. It is a simple way of doing business. We provide what people ask for and try to be helpful. That is the whole story of our little store on Tilak Road. We hope to stay here for many more years to come.
