Our spot is on the second floor of the Aimsr Building within the Jubilee Hills campus. Jubilee Hills is a pretty large area, and the hospital grounds are quite spread out, so it takes a minute to find the right building if you aren't used to it. Once you get to the Aimsr wing and head up to the second floor, that’s where you’ll find us. It’s a very busy part of the hospital. We have a lot of staff moving between the different floors all day long. The second floor has a particular rhythm to it, with doctors, students, and patients all sharing the same hallways. It’s not a silent place; you can always hear machines beeping or people talking about schedules. We have our offices and treatment areas laid out simply. There isn't much in the way of luxury here, just the medical stuff we need to do our work. Sometimes the wait for the lift takes a while, so many of us just take the stairs to save time. The windows look out over the rest of the campus, which is always buzzing with activity. We just show up, put on our coats, and get through the list of patients for the day. It’s a lot of routine work, checking charts and making sure everyone is where they need to be at the right time. The hallways can be a bit narrow when the trolleys are moving through.
