Apollo Hospital

This Apollo Hospital is located at Flat-G1 in the Spice Residency within Secretariate Colony, Manikonda. It’s actually on the ground floor of an apartment building, which makes it feel much more like a part of the neighborhood than a typical hospital. People living in the floors above often stop by just to say hello or ask a quick question. We have a small entrance that leads right into a cozy waiting area. Because it was originally a flat, the layout is a bit unique with different rooms serving as offices or exam spaces. We’ve kept the original windows, so you can see the colony street and the trees outside. It’s usually pretty quiet in Manikonda, though you get the occasional delivery bike zooming past. The staff uses the small kitchen area to make tea, and the smell of it often drifts into the hallway. We don’t have a massive staff, just a few of us who handle everything from the phones to the filing. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when we have a lot of visitors, but we make it work. We have a few magazines on the table that are probably a bit out of date, and a calendar from three years ago that we keep because the pictures are nice. It’s a very relaxed, local atmosphere where everyone knows everyone else. It doesn’t feel like a big institution; it feels like a neighbor’s house where people happen to work. We enjoy the familiar pace of life here.
