A.P. Private Hospitals Association

Our office is situated in Esamia Bazar over in Koti. If you know the Koti area, you know how packed the streets can get with shoppers and traffic. We are right in the thick of it. This isn't a hospital where you go for treatment, but an association office where we handle a lot of the administrative side of things for private hospitals. The room is filled with filing cabinets and a few large desks. There are stacks of folders everywhere because there is always a lot of paperwork to go through. We have a small table in the middle where we sit down for meetings. The chairs are old office ones that creak a bit when you sit back. It’s a busy place, with the phone ringing and people coming in to drop off documents or ask questions about regulations. Outside, you can hear the noise of the market all day long. Sometimes we have to close the windows just to hear each other talk. We don't have a fancy reception area, just a desk near the door. The carpet is a bit thin in places, but it serves its purpose. We spend our days mostly on the phone or typing up reports. It is a functional space for the people who run the hospitals to get together and sort things out. It’s just how things are done here in Esamia Bazar. We have been in this location for quite a long time.
