Anurag Degree College Uppal

Being right near the Uppal Bus Depot in Hyderabad means there is never a quiet moment around here. You can hear the buses pulling in and out all day long. Anurag Degree College has been sitting in this spot for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the noise and the crowds. Students arrive from all over the city, hopping off those buses and walking over to the gates. The building is pretty straightforward, nothing too flashy, just classrooms with desks and boards where the teaching happens. We spend a lot of time organizing schedules and making sure the registers are filled out. It’s a busy life. During the breaks, the corridors get loud with everyone talking at once. You might see some of us sitting in the office dealing with stacks of paperwork or talking to parents who stop by. The tea stalls outside are always busy too. It’s just a regular college day, every day. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It’s about giving these young people a place to study so they can get their degrees and find work. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoons, so we keep the shades down. We’ve seen the neighborhood around the bus depot change quite a bit over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing. It’s a practical place for practical people.
