Annai School

Annai School is tucked away in the Shyamalal Building over in Tatachary Colony, Begumpet. The address is 1-11/110/12/20, and if you know this part of Hyderabad, you know it’s tucked behind the main busy roads. It’s a bit of an older building, not one of those new glass towers you see popping up in Hitech City. We’ve been here long enough that the locals just know us as the school in the colony. Most mornings start with the sound of cycles and scooters pulling up. The hallways are narrow and you can hear the teachers talking from one end to the other. It’s a practical space. We don’t have a lot of extra room for fancy decorations, so we just use what we have. The students are mostly kids from around the Begumpet and Secunderabad area. They bring their lunch boxes and sit together during the breaks. The office is usually cluttered with old files and registers because we’ve been around for a while. We don't spend money on big advertisements or polished brochures. People usually find out about us just by walking past or hearing from a neighbor. It’s a quiet sort of place most of the time, except when school lets out and everyone rushes for the exit. It’s just a basic school trying to help the neighborhood kids get through their classes without any unnecessary drama or complications.
