Ankura Hospital

Ankura Hospital is located on the JNTU to Hitech City Road in the 7th Phase of KPHB Colony. It’s right near the Hitech City Railway Station, which is both good and bad because the traffic is just non-stop and the noise is always there. If you are coming from the station, you can see our building standing there quite clearly. It’s a busy area with a lot of shops and small eateries around us. The building itself is okay, though the stairs could use a fresh coat of paint. We have a small lift that sometimes takes its time to move between floors, so people often just use the stairs. The reception desk is usually covered in papers and sticky notes for the doctors. We use a lot of ledgers because the computer system likes to act up when it gets too hot in the afternoon. The waiting area has some rows of plastic chairs that are a bit uncomfortable if you have to sit there for an hour, but most people don't mind too much. We get a lot of dust from the main road, so the windows and the desks need cleaning every single day. The staff is mostly local people who have been with us for a while. We don't have any fancy uniforms or anything, just our regular clothes and the white coats. It’s a hardworking environment, and it gets pretty loud when the shift changes and everyone is talking at once. We don't have much room for extras, so it's just the basics here.
