Anjani General Stores

Our shop is located at 1-7-165/1 in Bakaram. We are quite close to the Spencer’s Hyper Market, which everyone knows in this part of Hyderabad. Anjani General Stores is just a small place compared to that big market, but we have our own way of doing things. I usually start the day early to get everything ready before the heat sets in. The Bakaram area has changed a lot over the years, but our store stays pretty much the same. We have shelves filled with all sorts of things, from plastic buckets to cooking oils. It gets a bit cramped inside when more than three people come in at once. Sometimes I have trouble finding where I put the smaller items like safety pins or matchboxes. The address 500020 is where I spend most of my time. It’s not a polished place with bright lights. Most of the time, the fan makes a bit of noise while I wait for customers. We don’t really do any big advertising or anything. People just know we are here near the hyper market. I like talking to the regulars who stop by for a minute after their work. It’s a simple business. We just try to keep the basics in stock so nobody has to go too far for a pack of salt or some lentils. The parking nearby is always a mess, so most people just walk here.
