Anim Arts The Animation College

We are tucked away on the second floor of the Mallika Crown Apartment in Dilsukhnagar. It’s right on the Bus Stand Road, which is one of the busiest parts of Hyderabad. You have to come up to House Number 204 to find our setup. It’s not a traditional campus with big lawns; it’s more of an urban college where we use the space for computer labs and desks. Dilsukhnagar is always buzzing with energy, and there are so many students around this area. Our place is full of screens and people drawing or working on animations. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but it’s a lively atmosphere. The people working here are mostly into the technical side of art. We aren't a big institution with fancy slogans. We just have the equipment and the rooms where people spend hours looking at monitors. Sometimes the elevators in the apartment building are slow, so a lot of us just take the stairs to the second floor. There are plenty of tea stalls and tiffin centers nearby where everyone goes during their breaks to grab something to eat. It’s a very local Hyderabad experience. The traffic outside is constant, and you can hear the buses honking all day long. We just pull the curtains and focus on the work on our screens. It’s a practical place for anyone wanting to learn about animation without any of the extra fluff.
