If you head over to Ramnagar and look for number 1-9-9/2/3/ A/2, you’ll find us on the 2nd floor. Ancell Pharma Pvt. Ltd. is based up there, so there are a few flights of stairs to climb every morning. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main road. The office is mostly filled with boxes of supplies and files piled up on the shelves. We handle the distribution and the administrative side of things for the pharmaceutical side. It’s a lot of checking batch numbers and making sure the orders are ready for the delivery bikes. The second floor gets a decent breeze when we leave the windows open, which is nice during the summer. We’ve got a small team, and everyone pretty much knows what they have to do as soon as they walk in. It’s not a laboratory with white coats or anything like that; it’s more about the logistics and making sure the medicine gets to where it needs to go. Sometimes the delivery guys are late, or a shipment gets delayed, and that’s when things get a bit hectic. Otherwise, it’s a steady routine of paperwork and phone calls to the manufacturers. We’ve been in this Ramnagar building for a while now, and we’re used to the way the plumbing acts up and how the light hits the desks in the afternoon. We just keep the boxes moving. (246 words)
