Amrutham Ayurveda Bazaar & Hospital

If you head over to Himayat Nagar, you’ll find us at Door No 1-2-288/32/A/3/2 in the Dommaraguda area. We are right opposite the NTR Stadium, which makes it easy for people to give directions to their friends. We have the bazaar part where we keep all the herbs and oils, and then there’s the hospital side for the actual treatments. The smell of ayurvedic oils is pretty strong as soon as you walk in. Some people like it, some take a minute to get used to it. Being in NTR Nagar means we see a lot of people who are out for their morning walks or coming from the stadium. The building is tucked in a bit, but the sign is clear enough. We’ve got shelves full of different bottles and packets in the bazaar. It takes a lot of work to keep everything stocked and dated correctly. The hospital part has rooms for staying over if someone needs a longer course of treatment. It’s not a fancy hotel, just simple rooms with the basics. We get a lot of questions about the different plants we use. The staff spends a good chunk of the day explaining how to mix this or that. It’s a practical place for people who prefer the old ways of doing things. We don't use much technology here, mostly just traditional methods and a lot of manual work. It gets dusty being near the main road, so we're always wiping down the glass counters and the wooden shelves.
