Amma Sai Driving School

We operate out of No. 3-4-529/5 in the Narayanaguda area of Hyderabad. We are situated quite close to the Anitha Apartment complex, which most locals know well. Being in this part of Andhra Pradesh, we deal with a lot of people who are just starting out behind the wheel. It’s a straightforward setup we have here. There is usually someone at the desk to take down names and check the schedule for the practice cars. Most of the real work happens out on the streets though. We take the learners through the local lanes first before heading out to where it gets more crowded. It’s a lot of watching the road and making sure the student stays calm when a bus passes too close. Driving is just one of those skills you have to learn by doing it repeatedly. We don’t use any high-tech gadgets; it’s just a car with dual controls and a lot of talking through the steps. The office can get a bit cluttered with papers and files because of all the RTO requirements, but we manage to keep things moving. We’ve been here for a while and most of our students come from the surrounding streets. It’s just a normal part of the day for us, helping people get comfortable with a steering wheel in their hands. It’s not always easy, but it is necessary work for anyone living in a city like this. We stay busy.
