Alexander International School

Our school is located in Venkat Nagar, Lalaguda. The building is Hno.10-5-779/16, and it’s a place where many local children spend their whole day. We have a gate where the kids come in every morning, and it’s always a bit chaotic with bags and water bottles and parents saying goodbye. The classrooms are spread over a couple of floors, and we have the usual blackboards and rows of wooden benches. We have a small playground area, but it’s not very big, so the kids have to take turns during their break time to run around. The teachers are mostly local people who have been with us for a while now. We follow a regular international-style curriculum, which means lots of books and different subjects for the kids to handle. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front of the building, so we keep the curtains drawn to stay cool while we work. The office is right near the entrance where parents come to pay fees or ask about their kids' progress. We have a few old computers for the students to share during their lab time. It’s a simple school environment in the 500017 area of Hyderabad. We don't have anything too luxurious, just the basics that a school needs to function every day. The students seem to enjoy their time here, especially when there are no exams coming up. It’s a busy, noisy, and lived-in space for learning. We keep the gate closed during class hours for safety.
