We operate Al Kuhaimi Metal Industries right here in Hyderabad. It’s a busy city and we fit right in with the noise and the constant movement. Dealing with metal is heavy work, but it’s what we know how to do. Our place is set up for the practical side of things, not for showing off. We spend most of our time out on the floor or handling the day-to-day stuff that comes with running a business like this in India. Hyderabad is a good place for industry. You can find almost anything you need if you know which street to go down. We’ve seen the city change quite a bit over the years, with new buildings going up everywhere. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets to be a lot, especially in the middle of the day. We just drink a lot of water and keep going. We don’t have a flashy office with leather chairs. It’s mostly just functional space where the work gets done. People know us as Al Kuhaimi Metal Industries because that’s what is on the paperwork and the gate. We aren't trying to be the biggest or anything. We just want to do a solid day’s work and make sure everything is handled correctly. It’s a straightforward way of living. We like the local rhythm here. It's home for us and we just take each project as it comes. It keeps us busy and out of trouble. There is always a lot to do.
