Getting to our place at 18-8-450 / 8 can be a bit of a puzzle if you aren't used to the lanes in Yakuthpura. We are on the ground floor of Ittehad Manzil, right in the Kumarwadi Colonyeid Bazar area. Hyderabad is always loud and moving, and Akber Nagar is no different. You can hear the bikes and the vendors outside our door all day long. It's a tight-knit spot, very local, where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We don't have a big sign or a glass front, just a regular space where the daily work for United Enterprises happens. The walls have some marks on them from years of moving stuff in and out, and the floor is a bit worn down near the entrance. Sometimes the chai wala comes by, and we take a minute to breathe. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a high-tech park, it’s more about being part of the neighborhood. The heat in the summer gets pretty intense inside, so we keep the fans going at full speed. It’s a busy, cramped, but functional office where we’ve set up shop. Being on the ground floor means we see a lot of people passing by, and there’s always something happening in the street. We just focus on getting through the list of tasks we have for the day while the world goes by outside in Akber Nagar. It is a humble place, but it serves us well.
