Advantecs Consulting is based in the LIC Colony area of Secunderabad. It’s a much quieter neighborhood than the center of Hyderabad, which is nice when you need to focus on work. The streets are lined with trees and it feels more like a residential area. Our office is a small space that we’ve been renting for a long time. We do consulting work, mostly helping businesses figure out their internal processes and data. It’s not a big team, just about five or six of us. We have an old sofa in the corner where we take our breaks, and a small kettle for making tea. We don't have any of those modern office perks like bean bags or game rooms. We just have our desks and our files. The internet can be a bit slow on rainy days, which can be frustrating, but we make do. Most of the people in the colony know us by now, and we often chat with the neighbors during our lunch breaks. We don't do much advertising; most of our work comes from word of mouth. People know we do a decent job without charging a fortune. It’s a low-key operation and we like it that way. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to help our clients and earn a living. It’s a good, steady place for us to be.
