Adorn Garments

Being located on Ramgopal Pet M. G. Road means there is always a lot of noise coming in from outside. You have people walking by, cars honking their horns, and the usual city sounds. Our place at number 2/4/542 is not exactly huge, but we find ways to make it work for us. Most of the time, we leave the front door open just to get a bit of fresh air inside. We mostly handle smaller batches of clothes here rather than huge runs. It gets a little crowded when a new shipment of cloth arrives and we have to stack it all near the back wall. Sometimes the light in the dark stairwell goes out and one of us has to go fix it. We have been in this same spot for a while now. The guy who runs the small shop next door always comes by for a chat in the late afternoon. It is not anything fancy at all, just a simple place where we sit and do our sewing. My hands usually have little bits of thread stuck to them by the end of the day. We have a few sewing machines that have seen better days but they still stitch a straight line. Lunch is usually a shared meal at the small wooden table in the corner. We keep track of everything in a thick notebook with a blue pen. It just works for us.
