Aakar Asha Hospital

Our hospital is located over in Vivekanadha Nagar within the Kukatpally area. It is a very busy part of the city to be in, so there is always a lot of movement and noise right outside our front doors. We have been operating from this location for quite a long time now. Most of the people who work here actually live in the surrounding blocks, so it feels very much like a neighborhood establishment. We see a huge variety of different people every single day. Some people come in for very small things like a cough, and others are dealing with much bigger health problems. The lobby area can get quite loud and messy when it is crowded with families, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. We don't have any big corporate slogans or mission statements printed on the walls. We just show up every morning, put on our uniforms, and start the day's shift. There is a lot of boring paperwork that we have to deal with, which nobody really enjoys doing, but it is necessary for the records. The building has several floors and we are constantly moving between them using the stairs or the lift. Sometimes things like the power going out happen and we just have to deal with it until it comes back. It’s a very real and grounded place to work. We just do our best every single shift.
