A K Beverages

Our business, A K Beverages, is over at 2-89 in Prakash Nagar. We are right opposite to Shangeeta, which everyone around here knows. It’s a typical neighborhood spot. We spend the day surrounded by bottles and crates. The space is a bit cramped because we try to fit as much stock as possible inside the building. Prakash Nagar is a lively area, and there's always something going on across the street. We don't have a polished storefront with neon lights. It’s just a regular door and some windows where you can see us working inside. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to delivery drivers who stop by. Sometimes the inventory doesn't match up, and we have to spend an hour figure out where that one case went. It’s that kind of place. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just distribute beverages to the local area. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, making it quite bright. We keep a couple of old chairs near the entrance for when things slow down. It’s a simple life, and we’ve become a fixture of this little stretch of road. We know the other shopkeepers nearby and we all sort of look out for each other. It’s just us, doing our thing in Prakash Nagar. We don't have any fancy mission statement on the wall. We just want to make sure the crates are stacked right and the orders go out when they should. Sometimes we stay late to finish up the paperwork, but that's part of owning a business. It’s nothing special, just our everyday work across from Shangeeta.
