Sovereign Consultants is based at 30-1599/4 in Chandragiri Colony. It’s a quiet part of Safilguda, Secunderabad. Our office isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a regular door in a residential-feeling area. Inside, we have our files, some old wooden chairs, and a couple of computers that we’ve had for years. We spend our days looking over documents and talking to clients who need advice on various things. It’s mostly quiet work, punctuated by the sound of the doorbell or a phone ringing. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just sit by the window until it comes back. The neighborhood is nice, with a lot of families living nearby. We aren't trying to be some high-rise consulting firm. We just sit here, do the math or the paperwork, and try to help people out. You can hear the sounds of the colony—kids playing, vendors calling out—while we work. There’s a specific way we keep our folders organized that only we understand. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a big staff, so everyone does a bit of everything, from answering the door to filing taxes. Safilguda has its own charm, and being tucked away in Chandragiri Colony suits us just fine. We’ve become a part of the local scenery over the years, just another small business doing its thing every day without needing any fancy bells or whistles.
