We’re part of the Deccan Chronicle Holdings group, but our daily life here is much more low-key than you might think. Being on the ground floor is nice, though we don't get much of a view. The office is a bit of a maze with all the desks and cabinets we’ve squeezed in over the years. It’s a busy place with people coming and going. We don’t have a big sign out front, just a small nameplate on the door. Inside, it’s usually a bit of a mess with newspapers and files scattered around. That’s just the nature of what we do. We aren't big on corporate polishing or making things look perfect for a brochure. We just work hard and try to stay on top of the schedule. The building itself is older, and sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble, but we like the location. It’s close to everything we need. We don’t have a fancy breakroom, so we usually just eat at our desks or head out to the local shops nearby for lunch. It’s a very real, everyday environment where we focus on getting the tasks finished. We’re just a group of people doing our jobs in a corner of Hyderabad. We have a small TV in the corner that we sometimes turn on for news.
