Rk Steel Udyog Pvt Ltd is located in Sheetal Apartment, right in Maruti Nagar. We are in Flat No 104, which is on the first floor. Working out of an apartment in Malkajgiri has its ups and downs. Secunderabad is a busy place, and the traffic around here can be a real headache during peak hours. Our office is usually filled with the sound of calculators and people talking about steel orders. Since we are in a residential-style building, it feels a bit more relaxed than a cold office block. We’ve got some filing cabinets that are overstuffed and a few desks that have seen better days. Steel isn’t the cleanest business, so there’s often a bit of dust around, but we try to keep the office tidy. Most of our work involves coordinating between the suppliers and the people who need the steel for their construction projects. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking invoices against what’s actually in the trucks. The weather here in Secunderabad gets really hot, so the ceiling fans are always going full speed. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to say hello or complain about a delivery truck blocking the way. It’s just how things go when you’re running a business in a place like this. We just keep our heads down and try to stay on top of the orders. We have a small corner for making coffee which gets used a lot.
