We’ve been here in Mudipara for a good while now, right at House No Hsbl 1/1 in the Housing Board Colony. It’s a decent enough spot in Sambalpur, even if the roads get a bit dusty when the sun is out in full force. Being in Orissa, you just get used to that heat during the summer months. Most days are just about looking over files and talking to people who walk through the door wanting to know where to put their money or how to handle their investments. It’s not a fancy office with big glass walls or anything like that. We have our desks, the fans are usually humming in the background, and there’s always a stack of papers somewhere that needs sorting. Neighbors walk by, and sometimes we stop for a quick chat outside if it’s not too humid. Our spot in the colony is pretty easy to find once you know the turns. We started doing this because there was a need for it here. It’s just us doing the daily work, keeping things moving along. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out and get back to the ledgers. It’s quiet work mostly. We don't spend much on big signs or anything. Just the name on the front and people know where we are. It feels like a regular part of the neighborhood by now, and that’s how we like to keep things running.
