Folknet

We’re located at 5/3Rt here in Hyderabad. It’s a bit of an older address, but it works for us. We call ourselves Folknet, and mostly we deal with internet and networking stuff for folks around the area. It started off pretty small and stayed that way. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in India; we just want to make sure the people we work with have a connection that actually works. Most of our time is spent fixing routers or checking on line issues. The office is a bit cramped because we have a lot of tools and rolls of wire sitting around. It’s not the most organized place, but we can find what we need when a customer calls with a problem. We’ve been around Hyderabad for a long time, so we know the layout of the streets pretty well. Sometimes we have to go out and climb on roofs or pull cables through tight spots, which isn't always fun when it's hot out. But it’s what we do. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. People usually hear about us through word of mouth or just because they see our sign. We just like to keep things simple and get the internet back up when it goes down. It’s a practical job, and we’re just a couple of guys who know how to work with wires and signals in this part of town.
