Expera India

Our place for Expera India is located in Flat 201 of the Visistha Kedari Apartments. This is over in the Alkapuri area of Hyderabad. It’s an apartment building, so we share the space with a lot of families living their daily lives. You have to take the lift or the stairs up to the second floor to find us. The balcony looks out over some of the other buildings in the area. We have set up our desks in the main living space and one of the bedrooms. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we have a lot of stuff going on, but we make it work. The kitchen is mostly just used for making tea and coffee these days. Alkapuri is a decent neighborhood and it’s grown a lot recently with new shops opening up. We often hear the kids playing in the common area downstairs during the evenings. Working from an apartment means we have to be careful about not making too much noise for the neighbors. We don’t have any big neon signs, just a small nameplate near the door. The furniture is mostly stuff we bought over time from the local market. It feels more like a home than an office, which is fine by us. We spend our hours here working through our projects and checking our emails until it's time to go home and deal with the evening traffic.
