Chirala Engineering College. We’re located in Gayatri Nagar, over in the Ameerpet area of Hyderabad. Most people know Ameerpet for all the coaching centers and students running around, and we’re right in the middle of all that energy. The building has been here for a bit, and it’s always full of noise—students talking between classes, labs being set up, and people hurrying to get things finished. It’s an engineering college, so there’s always something being built or tested. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. The classrooms are just classrooms with desks and boards. Our staff stays busy trying to keep the schedules on track, which isn't always easy with so many students and classes. Gayatri Nagar is a busy spot, and sometimes it feels like the whole city is trying to squeeze through the streets outside. We don't put on airs here at Chirala Engineering College. It’s about the work and the learning. You’ll see students tucked away in corners studying or hanging out by the entrance. It gets hot in Hyderabad, so the fans are always going. We’ve had a lot of batches pass through these doors over the years. It’s just a place where people come to get their degrees and move on to the next thing. We’re just a regular part of the Hyderabad educational scene. We try to keep the labs equipped and the lectures moving along. It’s a full-time job keeping everything running, but we do what we can.
