Arena Multimedia, Dilsukh Nagar

People usually find us here in Central Bank Colony near L.B. Nagar. It is a bit of a trek from the main Dilsukh Nagar hub where most of the multimedia crowd hangs out, but we like this spot. We’ve been set up at Plot No. 75 on Road No. 7 for a while now. Most days are just spent sitting at the computers, showing folks how to use different design tools. It isn't always fancy. Sometimes the power flickers or the internet gets sluggish, and we just deal with it. We have a few rooms filled with desks. It is mostly quiet here compared to the main road traffic. We started Arena Multimedia because there was a lot of interest in learning these things locally. You walk into H.No.3-9-38 and you’ll see some of us working on projects or helping students. It’s a lived-in space. There are posters on the walls from years ago that we never bothered to take down. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. Just some chairs and a water dispenser. People come in, do their work, and head home. It’s pretty straightforward. We've seen a lot of faces come through this door in Hyderabad. Some stay for months, others just a few weeks. It feels like a neighborhood spot more than a big institution. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the files get messy and we have to spend a Saturday cleaning up the drives.
