Vidyamandir Book Depot

You can find us over at Durgabail. Vidyamandir Book Depot has been a part of this street for quite a while, and most people around here know the shop. It is a busy spot, especially when the new school year is about to start and parents are rushing in with their lists. The shelves are pretty packed from the floor all the way up to the ceiling. Sometimes it is hard to find exactly what you are looking for without asking one of us, but we usually know where everything is hidden. It is not a very big shop, so it gets tight when there are more than five people inside. We carry textbooks, notebooks, and all the regular things students need for their classes. Durgabail is always noisy with people passing by and traffic, but we are used to it. The lights in the back are a bit dim, and the wooden counters have seen better days, but they do the job. We spend most of our time unboxing new arrivals or helping kids pick out the right pens. It is honest work, and it keeps us busy throughout the day. We do not do anything fancy here, just sell books to the local community. If we do not have a book in stock, we try to see if we can get it in a few days. That is just how we operate. We stay open pretty late most days.
