If you look for Vernekar Plaza on the Main Road in Deshpande Nager, you’ll find Prakash Enterprises at unit number 1. It’s a convenient spot because we are right there on the main stretch, so getting in and out is usually pretty easy, except during the evening traffic. We’ve been operating out of this plaza for quite a while now. The space isn't huge, but it fits our desks and the inventory we need to keep on hand. Most of our work involves a lot of back-and-forth with different suppliers and customers. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking lists to make sure nothing is missing. We aren't flashy people, and our office reflects that—it’s just a place to get work done. Sometimes the air conditioner acts up, or the internet goes slow, but we just deal with it. We don't have a big corporate structure, so if there’s a problem, we just talk it out and fix it. People from the other offices in the plaza stop by to chat sometimes, which is nice. We try to keep a decent stock of what people usually ask for so they don't have to wait. It’s a steady kind of life, and we are happy to be part of the Deshpande Nager community. We just keep our heads down and keep the business running as best as we can. It’s not about being the biggest, just staying open.
