Nava Chetana Lower Primary School

Nava Chetana Lower Primary School is situated on Hubli Road within the Basaveshwara Extension. It’s a smaller school because we only handle the younger kids in the lower primary grades. The building is located in a residential area, so it’s much quieter than the schools closer to the center of town. There is a small gate at the front and a bit of a yard where the children play during their breaks. The classrooms are small and cozy, which works well for the little ones who are just starting out. We have painted some bright colors on the walls to make it look a bit more lively for the kids. The desks are small and the chairs are made of plastic so they are easy to move around for different activities. The teachers here are very patient and spend their day helping the children learn their basics. Since it’s a lower primary school, the day ends a bit earlier than the high schools nearby. You can see the parents waiting outside the gate every afternoon around the same time. The Hubli Road gets a bit busy with traffic, but the extension itself stays pretty calm. We have a small cupboard in the office full of old books and supplies that we use throughout the year. It’s a simple, local school that serves the families living in this part of the extension.
