You can find us at No. 13 Nityadhan Mukherjee Road. The shop is not very big, and the street outside is always full of people rushing toward the railway station. We have been here for a while now. Most of our day is spent folding shirts and trousers that people have looked at. The wooden shelves were made by a local guy years ago and they still hold up pretty well, even if they look a bit worn out now. We have a small corner with a curtain that serves as a place for people to try things on. It is not fancy, but it does the job. My brother comes in to help during the busy hours in the afternoon. We drink a lot of water because it gets quite hot inside when the sun hits the front of the building. The signboard above the door is starting to fade, but everyone in the area knows we are here. We don't really do any advertising or anything like that. People just see the clothes hanging near the entrance and stop in if they need something. On Mondays, things get a bit chaotic because that is when the new stock arrives in big plastic bags. We have to climb over boxes just to get to the back of the room. It is a bit of a squeeze, but we manage to get everything sorted by the evening. It’s just a regular local shop.
