In Narieldaha, life moves at its own pace. We are part of the Shyampur area in Howrah. Our company, Survi Organic Dairy And Agri Composite Farmer Producer Company Limited, is really just us—the local farmers. We have a mix of dairy cows and fields for crops. It’s a lot to manage, honestly. We chose to go organic because we wanted better quality for our own families and for the milk we sell. Our cows eat what we grow, so we make sure no bad chemicals are used on the land. It’s an early start every day. You have to be out there with the animals before the sun is even up. We aren't some big city company with a polished image. Our boots are usually muddy and our hands are rough. We registered as a producer company so we could help each other buy feed and seeds at better rates. It’s tough work, especially when the weather doesn't cooperate. Sometimes the cows get sick or the crops don't grow right. We just handle it as it comes. We meet up near Anantpur to talk about our progress. It’s a community effort. We aren't looking to get rich quick. We just want to keep our farms going and provide for our kids. It’s a simple, honest way of living, even if it’s exhausting most of the time.
