Snacks Cafeteria

Snacks Cafeteria is located at 219/2, G.T Road in Howrah. We are quite close to Belur Math, so we see a lot of people coming through this area every single day. The traffic on G.T Road is pretty much constant, which keeps things lively around the shop. We started this cafeteria because we wanted a simple way to earn a living doing something we understood. It’s a small space, nothing too big or flashy. We spend a lot of time in the back getting things ready before the doors open. Sometimes the humidity makes the kitchen a bit tough to work in, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve got a few tables for people who want to take a break from the noise outside. It’s mostly locals and some visitors to the math who stop in. We do all the work ourselves, from taking the orders to cleaning up at the end of the night. It’s a long day, usually starting before the sun is fully up and ending late. We aren't looking to expand or become a big name. We just want to keep serving our customers on G.T Road. It’s an honest way to spend the day. If you’re ever stuck in the traffic near Belur Math, you might see us. We’re just a plain, local cafeteria trying to do our best. There’s always plenty to do, from scrubbing the floors to managing the daily supplies.
