S.K.Agarwal & Co is based on the ground floor of 5/1, Dr Raj Kumar Kundu Lane. We are in the Shibtola area of Shibpur, Howrah. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just walk in without dealing with stairs. The office isn't very large, but it fits everything we need. We have our desks, the computers, and a lot of shelves for all the records we have to keep. Shibtola is a busy little neighborhood. There's always something going on outside on the lane. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic and people passing by, but you get used to it. We handle all the accounting tasks for different people and businesses around here. Tax filings, audits, financial statements—it's all part of the daily routine. We aren't trying to be fancy. It's a practical workspace. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The team is small, and we've known each other for a long time. It feels more like a small family than a big corporation. We take the work seriously, but the atmosphere is pretty casual. People stop by to drop off documents or ask a quick question. We just try to get through the pile of work every day. It's a typical Howrah office, tucked away in a lane, doing what needs to be done.
