Shivam Trading Co.

If you head down to 67/6/2 College Road in Howrah, you'll find us. We are located near B. E. College, so there are always students and faculty walking around the area. Shivam Trading Co. has been operating out of this spot for some time. Our space is basically just a regular trading office where we handle various goods. It’s not a fancy setup with glass walls. It’s more of a place where we keep our ledgers and talk to our suppliers on the phone. The building is older and has that specific Howrah feel to it. We deal with a lot of different people every day. Some are regular customers who have been coming to us for years, and others are just passing through because of the college nearby. The street can get pretty narrow and congested with rickshaws and bikes, which makes loading and unloading a bit of a challenge sometimes. We just make it work. Most of the day is spent checking orders or waiting for the next delivery truck to arrive. We have a couple of chairs for visitors, but mostly it's just a working environment. We don't spend money on big advertisements. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they see the sign while walking to the college. It’s a steady kind of life here on College Road. We enjoy being part of the community here and seeing familiar faces every day as we go about our business.
