Sahani Agro Tech Private Limited

Sahani Agro Tech is located over in Srirampur, right near the Uluberia police station. Md. Intekhab Alam runs the place and keeps everything ticking along. We mostly deal with the technical side of farming and agriculture in this part of Howrah. It’s a busy area and there’s always something going on with the local crops. We started this because we saw that farmers around here needed better tools and ideas to get their work done. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us working out of a small space. We spend a lot of time talking to people in the neighborhood about what they need for their land. Some days are slow and we just sit around with tea, but other days it gets really hectic when the planting season starts. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We just want to provide what's needed for the farms nearby. The roads can get pretty muddy during the monsoon, which makes moving stuff around a bit of a headache. We've had our share of mistakes and learning curves over the years. Technology in farming changes fast, and we try to keep up without making things too complicated for the local folks. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We are just local people trying to make a living while helping out with the agricultural needs of Srirampur and the surrounding villages.
