We are set up at 25/3 Krishna Chatterjee Lane in the Bally area of Howrah. It’s a classic old neighborhood where the lanes are narrow and you really have to know your way around to find anything. The office is basically a space we use to manage the local side of things. Howrah is always busy, and Bally is no exception with all its people and small businesses squeezed together. We have been here at this address for a long time. It’s an old building with high ceilings and those big windows that let in a lot of light but also a lot of dust from the street. Anup Kumar Sarkar helps keep things running on the ground here. It’s a very grounded way to work, without any of the fancy stuff you might find in a modern office park. We walk to the local markets for lunch and know most of the shopkeepers on the lane. The pin code is 711201, which covers a pretty large area. Dealing with infrastructure equipment means there is always something going on, but our office stays relatively calm. We don't have a big corporate lobby. You just walk in and we're right there. It feels more like a workshop than a boardroom most days. The walls are a bit stained from the monsoon rains, but we don't mind much as long as the roof doesn't leak during the heavy storms we get here.
