We are based right on GT Road in the Salkia area of Howrah. Being at 140 2 1 puts us in a very busy part of the city. There’s always the sound of horns and people outside, which is just life on GT Road. Our office for Pricewaterhousecoopers Pvt Ltd is a straightforward place. We don’t have any of those modern glass walls or designer furniture. It’s just a solid, older building where we do our daily tasks. The space is filled with desks and old shelves where we keep our records. It can get a bit warm in the summer, but we have fans going to keep things moving. We’ve been in this 711106 area for quite a while, so we know the local shops and the best places to grab a quick snack. Most of the work we do involves sitting at computers or going through paperwork. It isn't glamorous, but it’s what we do. We try to keep things simple and avoid any unnecessary fuss. The commute can be a bit of a struggle with the traffic on the bridge and the main road, but we all manage to get here. It feels like a very grounded place to work. We aren't tucked away in some high-rise; we’re right there in the middle of everything in West Bengal. It’s a noisy, busy, and honest place to spend the workday. We just do the work as it comes.
