Omkara International

Omkara International is tucked away in Srimani Bagan Lane. It's in the Howrah district, which most people know is always crowded and moving fast. Our place at number 12 is just a regular building among many others on this lane. It can be hard to find if you aren't looking closely because the signs are old. We have been here for a long time, so we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, piles of papers, and the stuff we deal with every day. It’s not a shiny office like you see in the city center. We deal with all sorts of delays because of the traffic in Howrah, but we manage to get things moving eventually. Usually, the morning starts with a lot of noise from the street outside. We just get our tea and start looking at what needs to be done. There is no big hierarchy here; we all just pitch in where it is needed. Sometimes the rain makes the lane a bit messy, so we have to watch our step. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Most folks who need us already know where the lane is. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the files, but it works for what we do here in this part of town.
