We’ve been here in the Ramrajatala area for a bit now. Our spot is near Hutpukur in the G.I.P Colony. If you know Howrah, you know it gets busy around here with people always moving and things happening on the streets. It’s a plain office, nothing fancy or modern. We spend most of our time on the computers checking market stuff and talking to people on the phone. Sometimes the power acts up or things get a bit slow, but we manage to keep everything going. The staff mostly comes from nearby neighborhoods, so we are all locals who live close by. We like it here because it's close to the main roads but still tucked away enough that we can get work done without too much trouble. It’s not a big glass building like you see in the city center. It's just a regular place where we handle securities and paperwork. We drink a lot of tea while we work, usually getting it from the stall down the street. The G.I.P Colony is a quiet enough place during the middle of the day. We’ve gotten used to the noise from the railway lines not too far off. People walk in sometimes just asking for directions, and we try to help them out. It's a small team here. We don't have a big reception area or anyone to open the door for you. Just desks and chairs and files. We keep things moving and mostly stick to ourselves. Most of us have been working together for a few years now. It’s just how we do things every day.
