We are out in Abhoynagar, which is in the Howrah district. Our office is right in the village, so it’s a bit quieter than being in the middle of a big city. The pin code is 711205 if you are looking on a map. We have been working as Maknan Consultanct for some time, mostly dealing with paperwork and helping people with their various documents. It isn't a large operation. Usually, it's just a couple of desks and a lot of files piled up. Sometimes people come in from the surrounding villages to ask about stuff they don't understand, and we sit down and try to explain it. The internet can be a bit slow out here occasionally, which can be frustrating when we have deadlines, but we manage to get things finished. There is a tea shop just down the road where we get our morning chai. It’s nice being part of a small community where everyone knows who you are. We don't have a big sign or anything, just a small one near the entrance. Most of our work comes from people telling their neighbors about us. It is honest work and it keeps us busy throughout the year. The office gets a bit hot in the summer because we only have a small ceiling fan, but we are used to it by now. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
