Our firm is based in Arihant Enclave, over in Block A-1. We’re in Flat No. 102 on the ground floor, which is handy because nobody has to wait for an elevator. The building is at 493B, G. T. Road (S) in Shibpur. It’s a very busy part of Howrah, so there’s always something going on outside our windows. Inside, it’s mostly just us and a lot of folders. Being chartered accountants means our desks are usually covered in spreadsheets and tax forms. We don’t really have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s just a functional office where we do our work and try to keep things moving. The team here is pretty small, and we’ve worked together for a long time now. We know most of our clients by their first names since they’ve been coming to us for years. Shibpur is a good place for a business like ours because it’s central and people know the area. Sometimes the noise from G. T. Road can be a bit loud, but we’ve mostly stopped noticing it. We aren't the type to have a big marketing budget or a polished website. We just do the accounting and auditing that people need us to do. It’s an honest living and it keeps us busy. We like the simple setup we have here in Arihant Enclave; it works for us and our clients.
