M/S Upasana

M/S Upasana is based over at 18/19, Dr. Avani Dutta Road in Howrah. It’s a typical Howrah street, which means it’s always got something going on. Our place is situated among a row of other buildings, and it’s been our base of operations for years. It’s an old-school kind of setup. We have wooden desks and shelves that are probably as old as the business itself. We don't have any of those modern open-plan office features. It’s just rooms where we sit and focus on the work. Dr. Avani Dutta Road is a busy stretch, and we see a lot of the same faces passing by every day. We’ve become a bit of a fixture here. The work we do isn't flashy, but it’s necessary. We keep our records in big ledgers and on our computers. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, but that’s just life in Howrah. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy scripts for us. We just talk to people who come through the door or call us up. We try to be helpful without making a big fuss about it. Our team is like a small family, and we’ve seen a lot of changes in the district over the decades. Through it all, we’ve just kept our heads down and kept working right here at number 18/19.
