Madhhuraag

We are based at 41/1, Dr B K Banerjee Road, right near Mullick Phatak in Howrah. The area is always full of energy and sometimes it’s hard to hear yourself think over the traffic outside. Our space is filled with a lot of history and memories. You can see it in the way the walls are painted and the old wooden furniture we still use. We spend a lot of time planning and talking things through. It’s a local operation and we have been part of the Howrah community for a long time. People stop by all the time just to chat or ask for advice. We don’t have a formal lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and you’re right there with us. There’s usually a pot of tea going and some snacks on a plate. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big titles or fancy words. We just do the work and hope it turns out okay. Sometimes the days are long and we’re still here when the shops nearby are closing up. It’s a steady rhythm that we’ve gotten used to over the years. Being near Mullick Phatak means we’re right in the middle of everything. It can be chaotic, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. We just keep our heads down and focus on the day-to-day tasks that keep this place running smoothly.
