Mahua Boutique

We are based out of Serampore at No. 73/C Mukherjee Para Lane. Mahua Boutique has been here for quite some time now. Mukherjee Para Lane is a narrow little street, but it has a lot of heart and history. If you are coming from the main part of Serampore, you have to look closely for the turn-off or you might miss us. We are just a local shop run by local people who live around here. The building we are in is 73/C, and it has been part of the neighborhood forever. We don't have any big windows or flashy displays to catch the eye. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone they know told them about us. Inside, it is mostly just shelves and stacks of fabric and finished items. We try to keep it clean, but when we are busy, things tend to pile up on the tables and chairs. It is a very hands-on kind of place. We spend our mornings checking the stock and our afternoons helping customers who stop by. Serampore is a quiet town compared to the big city, and we like the slower pace of life here. Mukherjee Para Lane feels like home to us. We aren't trying to expand or become a big chain. We just want to keep Mahua Boutique going and serve the folks who come through the door. It is a simple business.
