Lodha & Co (Kolkata)

Our office is tucked away at 36/5, R.N.R.C. Ghat Road in Shibpur. It’s a busy part of Howrah, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. People usually find us easily enough, though the traffic on Ghat Road can be a bit much during the afternoons. The building isn't brand new, but it works for what we do. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, chairs, and a lot of files. We spend most of our days looking at numbers and helping people with their tax filings or whatever else comes through the door. It’s a small team here. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside with the rickshaws and everything, but you get used to it. We don't have a fancy reception or anything like that. If you come by, you'll probably see one of us at the desk drinking tea. We try to keep things organized, even when the paperwork starts stacking up near the end of the financial year. It’s just honest work. We know the neighborhood well. Most of our clients are locals or businesses from around this part of Howrah. We like the fact that we can just walk down the street and get what we need. It isn't a high-rise corporate office, just a practical place to get things done. We’ve seen the area change over the years, but our spot on R.N.R.C. Ghat Road stays pretty much the same.
