You can find us at 4 Watkins Lane, over at Lp 49/3 in Howrah. Leedep Pharmaceutical Private Limited is based here, at Vikash Gupta’s location. The lane is a bit narrow, so it’s hard for big trucks to get in, but we manage with smaller vans. It’s an old part of Howrah, and the buildings have a lot of character. We spend our time managing pharmaceutical stock and talking to local doctors and shops. It’s a lot of coordination. There isn't much room for a lobby or anything, so the office is mostly desks and storage shelves. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the day's tasks. Sometimes the phone rings constantly, and other times it’s very quiet. We aren't trying to be some massive company; we just want to do our job well. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but they are fine for now. We keep the paperwork in metal cabinets that have been here since we started. It’s a very practical environment. We don't use much jargon. We just talk about what needs to be delivered and what's running low. Being on Watkins Lane means we are close to the heart of the trade here. It’s a good spot for us. We just focus on the boxes and the invoices. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We hope to stay here for many more years. The building is a bit old, and the fan makes a clicking sound.
